主要从事航天推进系统的理论、实验和数值计算研究工作,包括固体与液体火箭发动机和空间推进等多个研究领域。主持和参与完成国家航天高技术领域项目、国家自然科学基金、航天基金、博士点基金及与航天院所合作的纵横向课题近 20 项。
Wang Yibai is an associate professor of School of Astronautics, Beihang University, Beijing. He was graduated from Beihang University, received the BSc and PhD degree in aerospace engineering in 1999 and 2004, respectively. From 2004 through 2006, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Fluid Mechanics of Beihang University.
Recently, he has focused on the more interesting questions like how to design and optimize aerospike nozzles, modeling and computational analyzing to solve problems involving fluid mechanics and heat transfer of propulsion engine, designing experimental fluid dynamics system and carring out performance parameters tests, et al. Collaborating with other research team members, Prof. Wang has been interested in trying to design an new stucture of aerospike nozzle and evalute high attitude compensation characterics through cold flow and hot-firing tests.
He worked as principal investigator or co-principal investigator on about twenty research projects supported by National High Technology Research and Development Program of China, National Science Foundation of China, Aerospace Science Technology Foundation, the Doctoral Fund of Ministry of Education of China, et. al. He has published over 30 papers in journals and procedings in astronautica science technology such as Journal of Propulsion Technology, IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, Journal of Aerospace Power, Journal of Astronautics, AIAA/ASME/SAE/ASEE Joint Propulsion Conference, International Astronautical Congress. Also he has obtained several invention patents and serves as deputy director of Aerospace Propusion Lab in BUAA. He was chosen as outstanding fellow of BUAA in 2007 and in 2011.

科研成果
研究成果在国内外期刊及学术会议发表论文30多篇,获批及申请国家、省部级发明专利多项。与其他教师合作编写教材或专著2部,已申请“十一五”省部级特色学科专业立项出版。承担国家级精品课部分课程建设任务,获北京航空航天大学教学成果二等奖及科技成果三等奖各1项。2007年评为北京航空航天大学“蓝天新秀”;2011年评为北京航空航天大学“蓝天新星”。
